Goeje – Hakdong Mongdol Beach, Sinseondae Cliff, Oedo Island, and Windy Hill in South Korea

A day trip to Goeje from Tongyeong. I Visited Mongdol Beach, Sinseondae Cliff, Oedo Island, and Windy Hill.

I took a taxi to Tongyeong Bus Terminal and took a bus to arrive at the Goeje Bus Terminal.  From Goeje Bus Terminal, I took another bus to Hak Dong beach.  The beach has many small pebbles instead of sands.

I took a bus from Hak Dong to Haegeumgang (Dojangpo) to visit Sinseondae Cliff, Oedo Island, and Windy Hill.  The bus comes in every hour.  From the Dojangpo bus stop, I can see the Dojangpo harbor where the boat to Oedo is waiting and the Windy Hill.

On the other side, I can see the Sinseondae Cliff.  I decide to go to Sinseondae first because it is closer than the Windy Hill.

I walked back to the bus stop and down to the Dojangpo harbor.

At the harbor, I bought a ticket to Oedo Island, which included a scenic boat tour to Haegeumgang island and admission to Oedo.  The cost was about $26, and the whole tour took about 3 hours.  It allowed about 2 hours of sightseeing in Oedo Island.

This is Haegeumgang island which is named after the Geumgang mountain in Korea.

I took the boat back to the Dojangpo harbor and from the harbor, I walked up to the Windy Hill.  It is called Windy Hill because the wind is blowing here a lot of times.

Walked back to the bus stop for the bus to Goeje Bus Terminal, then took another bus to Tongyeong.
