While I was in Korea, I went to Incheon to see the 2026 Active King of Singers 3 (현역가왕3) national tour concert at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium. The concert featured many of the popular singers from the TV competition performing live on stage.
Before heading to Incheon for the concert, I stopped at a nearby café called Coffee Hanyakbang (커피한약방) for a cup of coffee and some pastries.
Coffee Hanyakbang (커피한약방) is a distinctive café hidden in a narrow alley in Euljiro, not far from Euljiro 3-ga. It is particularly known for its retro interior, filled with antique wooden furniture, old cabinets, patterned floors, and vintage decorations that evoke an earlier period of Seoul.
The name Hanyakbang (한약방) means “traditional Korean medicine shop.” The café's location is associated with the former Hyeminseo (혜민서) area, a Joseon-era government medical institution that provided treatment to ordinary people.
I wasn’t able to buy a concert ticket online because I didn’t have a Korean ID or phone number. Instead, I took a chance and went directly to the venue to buy a ticket at the box office on the day of the concert. Fortunately, there were plenty of seats still available, and I had no trouble getting a good seat.
The concert was held at Incheon Namdong Gymnasium, a large indoor arena in Incheon used for concerts, sporting events, and other large gatherings.
Outside the concert venue, there were fan club booths for the performers, where fans gathered to show their support for their favorite singers.
