Times Square is a major commercial intersection, tourist destination, entertainment hub, and neighborhood in Midtown Manhattan, New York City. It is formed by the junction of Broadway, Seventh Avenue, and 42nd Street.

Time Square: Broadway at, W 47th St, New York, USA

One of the main reasons why Times Square is so popular is the sheer amount of theaters along Broadway, in Lincoln Center, and the Theater District. You can catch award-winning plays and musicals all year long. The area is busiest during annual festivities, especially New Year’s Eve.

Walking to Time Square, which is pretty close to where I stay.

Going through a small street where many music venues are located

This is where the musical Hamilton is played.  Later, I will come back here to see the play.

Out from the small street to the main Time Square street.

The main street goes north and south.  Looking at the northern side.

Walking to the theater where it plays the musical Hamilton

Inside the theater – the muscial Hamilton is a sung-and-rapped-through musical with music, lyrics, and a book by Lin-Manuel Miranda, based on the 2004 book Alexander Hamilton by Ron Chernow. The musical tells the story of American Founding Father Alexander Hamilton.

Alexander Hamilton is one of the founding fathers, but he is not well known to the public.  This musical wants to change that.  He did many good things for the country; his face is on $10 bills.
