Athens Walk: Athens, Greece
After I arrived in Athens, this was the first place I visited for dinner.
This is a walk from the Ancient Agora entrance gate to Monastiraki Square.

A couple of bus stops from Syntagma Square is Hadrian’s Arch. It spanned an ancient road from the center of Athens, Greece, to the complex of structures on the eastern side of the city that included the Temple of Olympian Zeus.
Next to the arch is the Temple of Olympian Zeus, a vast temple begun in the 6th century B.C. on the site of an ancient outdoor sanctuary dedicated to Zeus.
On another day, a walk started at the National Archaeological Museum.
I am starting north of the Ancient Agora on another day, walking toward Monastiraki Square.
On another day, I am walking from the Acropolis Museum toward the Plaka neighborhood.
I walked past the Plaka area and toward the Ancient Agora, stopped by the Roman Agora.

I reached Monastiraki Square.
I came back to the hotel using the subway.
On another day, I went back to the Plaka area for a meal.
