Burano is a beautiful and colorful island located in the Venetian Lagoon, near Venice, Italy

Burano is known for its vibrantly painted houses, lace-making tradition, and charming canals.

Water near the St. Mark’s Plaza

I took a Burnao-bound water bus at the water bus stop near the St. Mark’s Plaza.  The water bus stops at Murano first and then goes to Burano.  It takes about an hour and half to Burano.

Arrived at Burano

Burano is known for having painted buildings, which made my mood brighten.

It is a small island with nothing else to do but walk around looking at the houses.
