Tuscany Town Tour, Tuscany, Italy
I took a day tour that took us to three small Tuscany towns from Florence.
Montepulciano: 3QWM+6H Montepulciano, Province of Siena, Italy
Pienza: 3MGH+JH Pienza, Province of Siena, Italy
Montalcino: 53024 Montalcino, Province of Siena, Italy
The first town of the tour was Montepulciano.
It’s known for its medieval and Renaissance architecture, including the beautiful Piazza Grande and the Montepulciano Cathedral. The town is also renowned for its wine, particularly Vino Nobile di Montepulciano, a red wine made from the Sangiovese grape.

The tour gave two free wine-tasting activities.
Back to the main plaza
Walking the streets. It is a very small town
Looking at the rest of the street going down, but I decided to turn around and go back to the main plaza
Past the main square and kept going up
Fortezza Medicea
The next town visited was still smaller than the first. The town’s name is Pienza.
The town is smaller than the first town but prettier

This is the view of the Tuscany Hills taken on the bus. The tour did not stop at the hill for viewing. It will require a car rental to see the Tuscany correctly; springtime is preferred.
The tour’s last stop was in the town of Montalcino, and we had another wine-tasting activity.
