The Mendocino Coast Botanical Gardens offers a serene and immersive experience for nature lovers, garden enthusiasts, and those seeking a tranquil coastal retreat. I left the garden and made a short drive to Point Cabrillo Light Station State Historic Park.
I walked toward the ocean, toward the lighthouse.
The park houses the historic Point Cabrillo Light Station, which includes a fully operational lighthouse. The lighthouse was first illuminated in 1909 and served as a crucial navigational aid for ships along the northern California coast.
I turned around and looked back
