It was the principal palace for many kings of the Joseon dynasty and is the most well-preserved of the five remaining royal Joseon palaces. Nakseonjae is located inside Changdeokgung Palace and it was the residence of the king and his wife.

Nakseonjae: Inside Changdeokgung

Changdeokgung is the best-preserved palace among other palaces in Korea, and it is the most beautiful.  This palace is the only Korean palace selected as UNESCO World Heritage.

The throne

Nakseonjae is located inside Changdeokgung, and it is a residential complex for the king and his wife.  The residence is modest and seems to fit for the residence of a wealthy upper-class family than for a king.
