From the rear window of the hotel I stayed in Manila, I could see this view of a town below. In front of my hotel are the modern apartments and commercial buildings, which I walked around and took pictures of, but I also wanted to visit this town in the rear of my hotel to take some photos of it, too.
So I began to wander around the area

Originally established as a military reservation, Pembo was home to the elite Armed Forces of the Philippines’ First Ranger Regiment, known as the “Panthers.” The name “Pembo” stands for “Panthers Enlisted Men’s Barrio.”
