Its key attractions include the Honkan (Japanese Art), Toyokan (Asian Art), and Heiseikan (Archaeology and Exhibitions). Highlights range from samurai armor and Buddhist artifacts to Korean ceramics and ancient Asian treasures. Seasonal gardens, cultural events, and special exhibitions enhance the experience. It’s a must-visit for history and art enthusiasts.

The main building where Japanese Art is displayed

I went into the main building, but the main building did not have a place to eat, so I got to a side building where Asian Art other than Japanese art is displayed and had lunch.

After lunch, I started to see the Asian arts (other than Japanese Art) first because I was already in that building.

There were many more Asian arts, but I needed to go to the main building to see a timed exhibition.

However, the timed exhibition would take too long to see, so I decided to skip it and visit the permanent exhibition of Japanese Art.
