I stayed within short walking distance of the Twin Towers in Kuala Lumpur.
The Twin Tower
The Petronas Towers are 452 meters (1,483 feet) tall and were the tallest buildings in the world from 1998 until 2004. They remain the tallest twin towers globally.
Other buildings at the same location
The towers were designed by Argentine-American architect César Pelli. Their design reflects Malaysia’s Islamic heritage, with an eight-point star-shaped floor plan derived from Islamic geometric patterns, symbolizing unity, harmony, and stability.
On the front of the building are this fountains
At the bottom of the building is this large shopping mall, Suria KLCC. Located at the base of the towers, Suria KLCC is a high-end shopping center with luxury brands, dining options, and an aquarium (Aquaria KLCC).
This is the back of the shopping mall where KLCC Park is located
KLCC park
The view of the KLCC park. A beautifully landscaped park surrounding the towers, perfect for a relaxing stroll. It features fountains, a children’s playground, and jogging paths.
Walked back to the Suria KLCC shopping mall
Inside the shopping mall again. A good thing about staying near a mall is abundant places to eat
