On the way, I stopped at the town of Ferndale.

I turned and started to walk back toward my car.

Left the town and kept driving to the beach.

Arrived at the Black Sand Beach.  This beach is known for its distinctive black-colored sand, which is a result of the erosion of dark-colored rocks and minerals in the surrounding area.

After driving from Black Sand Beach, I arrived at Mattole Beach – a pristine beach with no one around.
