On the way to the Point Reyes Lighthouse, I stopped at the small town of Point Reyes Station.
I also stopped at Cypress Tree Tunnel.
The trees were planted around 1930, though their purpose remains debated. Some say they were meant to serve as a windbreak, while others believe they symbolized the prestige of the RCA, which operated a historic radio station nearby. Today, the tunnel leads to the North District Operations Center.

Descending the 313 steps to the lighthouse base is a pilgrimage in itself. The rugged cliffs unfold beneath your feet, the salty wind whipping through your hair, and the vast expanse of the Pacific Ocean stretches before you.

Towering 35 feet above the rugged cliffs of Point Reyes National Seashore, the Point Reyes Lighthouse stands as a majestic sentinel, guiding mariners for over 150 years.

The strong wind in this location made strange shape of the trees.
A short drive from the lighthouse is Chimney Rock Trail.
Chimney Rock Trail follows a narrow, winding trail along a ridge, with the vast Pacific Ocean unfolding. Lush green meadows carpet the rolling hills, while dramatic cliffs plunge into the churning waters below.
