Crescent City, situated near Redwood National and State Parks, provides convenient access to Prairie Creek Redwoods State Park.

On the next day, I drove north from Kuechel Visitor Center to the Crescent City to explore the northern side of the Redwood National and State Park.  This trail is the Boy Scout Tree.
