I wanted to begin my Tokyo sightseeing trip at Shibuya Crossing, the city’s most iconic location.
Located near Shibuya Station, Hachiko Statue commemorates the loyal Akita dog, Hachiko, and is a popular meeting point.
Shibuya Scramble Crossing is one of the busiest pedestrian crossings in the world, and it is a must-see for its chaotic yet mesmerizing flow of people.

Next to the Starbucks is this narrow street, Shibuya Center-Gai
Turned right to Spain-zaka Slope

The end of Spain-zaka Slope and in the broader street. This was not where I wanted to be, so I turned around and went back to Shibuya Center-Gai Street.

I went inside the MEGA Don Quijote store but did not take any photos.
MEGA Don Quijote stores, commonly known as “Donki,” are expansive Japanese discount retailers offering a vast array of products across multiple floors. It is similar to Walmart and Target in the USA.
The Hands Shibuya. I looked inside, and it seems close to Home Depot in the USA.
I did not know it then, but PARCO is everywhere in big cities in Japan. Parco is a prominent Japanese department store chain renowned for its diverse range of retail offerings, which encompass fashion, dining, entertainment, and cultural experiences.

MUJI department store. MUJI, established in 1980, is a Japanese retail company renowned for its minimalist design philosophy and a wide array of household and consumer goods. It may be similar to IKEA in the USA
Tower Records. Tower Records in the USA has pretty much disappeared, but in Japan, it is still in business.

The area ahead on the street with many Japanese lamps is the Shibuya Yokocho, located on the first floor of the RAYARD MIYASHITA PARK complex in Tokyo’s Shibuya district. It is a vibrant dining destination that opened in August 2020.
