Feb 10, 2021 | City, Europe, Other Europe Country

I went on a group tour to Eastern Europe visiting Prague, Czech Republic, and Budapest, Hungary.

Prague, Czech Republic

Cesky Krumlov, Czech Republic – Český Krumlov is a city in the South Bohemia region of the Czech Republic. It’s bisected by the Vltava River, and dominated by its 13th-century castle. The castle has Gothic, Renaissance and baroque elements, an 11-hectare garden and an original 17th-century baroque theater.

The Old New Synagogue, also called the Altneuschul, situated in Josefov, Prague, is Europe’s oldest active synagogue. It is also the oldest surviving medieval synagogue of twin-nave design.

I stayed for only a couple of hours in Bratislava, the capital of Slovakia
