Myeong-dong is known as the most popular shopping area in Seoul. However, due to COVID-19, it was quiet and sparse, with fewer people. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Dongdaemun features numerous exhibition museums and serves as a convention center. 170

The food price is from seven to ten dollars for regular dishes.  For main meat or seafood, it can go up to 20 dollars.  One can get good taste and healthy food for about seven dollars.

It used to be far more crowded than this.

Dongdaemun Design Plaza is just a couple of subway stations away from Myeong-dong subway station.  The plaza has museums and also used as a convention center.

One of the exhibitions is an art display called TeamLab.

The small streets near Dongdaemun Design Plaza are pack with restaurants and small stores.
