Heritage Square and Roosevelt Row, Phoenix, Arizona, USA

Heritage Square spotlights a collection of preserved 19th- and 20th-century houses.  Roosevelt Row is downtown Phoenix’s walkable arts district, where art galleries, restaurants, bars, and boutique shops are dotted with colorful street art.

Heritage Square is one area where the old houses are preserved.  At one corner is this large structure where it once was the most expensive house in Phoenix.

There are six or so smaller houses in the square.

The large Victorian-style house is open for the tour.

The house is restored to give the feel of the original look.  Not all furniture are original.

Roosevelt Row is a short distance from Heritage Square, where the restaurants are painted to give a hip look.
