Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is more than just a shopping mall—it’s a luxury shopping, dining, and entertainment destination that offers something for everyone. Whether you’re in search of designer goods, high-street fashion, fine dining, or a place to relax and watch a movie, Pavilion provides a world-class experience in the heart of Kuala Lumpur’s bustling Bukit Bintang district.

By one bus stop ride, I reached the Pavilion Kuala Lumpur from my hotel.  I entered the shopping mall through a side door.

Then, I exited through the front entrance of the mall.

Opened in 2007, Pavilion Kuala Lumpur has established itself as one of the most prestigious shopping malls in the city. It spans over 1.37 million square feet, housing more than 700 retail outlets.

The mall is well known for its mix of luxury brands, international retailers, and local boutiques, making it a go-to destination for both tourists and locals seeking a high-end shopping experience.

High-Street Fashion: Alongside luxury brands, Pavilion also hosts a range of high-street and mid-range brands, such as Zara, H&M, Uniqlo, and Massimo Dutti, catering to shoppers with varied budgets.

Pavilion Kuala Lumpur is a food lover’s paradise, offering an extensive selection of dining options, from casual eateries to fine dining restaurants.

On the lower ground level, Food Republic provides a more casual dining experience, with a wide variety of local and international food stalls, offering everything from Malaysian street food to Chinese, Thai, and Korean dishes.

The area in front of the mall is the Bukit Bintang.  Bukit Bintang is Kuala Lumpur’s premier shopping and entertainment district, known for its vibrant atmosphere, diverse retail offerings, and bustling nightlife. It’s one of the most popular areas in the city for both locals and tourists, offering a variety of shopping malls, restaurants, cafes, and entertainment venues.

Back side

Jalan Alor Food Street.  Just off the main Bukit Bintang area, Jalan Alor is one of Kuala Lumpur’s most famous food streets. It offers a wide range of local street food, including satay, noodles, grilled seafood, and desserts, and comes alive at night with a lively street dining experience.

Unlike other night food markets, this one has many tables, which makes it much easier to buy food and eat here.

The next destination was Changkat Bukit Bintang.  I went there by walking through narrow streets.

Changkat Bukit Bintang.  This street is the heart of Bukit Bintang’s nightlife scene. It’s lined with bars, pubs, and clubs that offer a mix of live music, cocktails, and late-night parties. It’s especially popular with both locals and tourists looking for a vibrant nightlife experience.

The area felt relatively small. The bars were all located on one street, and beyond this, there were no bars.

After this area, I walked to my hotel from here since it was not too far.

This street has massage shops one after the other.
