There are not many Gotjawal forests left in Jeju-do. It is a unique forest because it thrives on volcanic rocks without soils. The soil you see in the pictures is brought from other areas to make the trail for the visitors.
Out from the forest
I took a bus from the forest to Osulloc Tea Museum. It is more of a cafe than a museum. Nearby the museum is a vast tea field.
I went to the roof of the cafe to see the tea field.
