Hollywood Blvd, L.A. Subway Transit, and L.A. Downtown, Los Angeles, California, USA

Dec 20, 2020 | California: Los Angeles Area, City, Food, Market, Transportation

I took a Los Angeles subway ride to see Hollywood blvd and various areas in L.A. downtown.

The Red line Metro Hollywood Station: 6801 Hollywood Bl, Los Angeles 90028.  The Grand Central Market in downtown: 317 S Broadway, Los Angeles, 90013.

The Hollywood Blvd

The Hollywood Blvd is a one long blvd, and it is where the Mann Chinese Theater is located.  It is the street where the famous movie stars have their names marked on the sidewalks.

The subway, Red line.  From Hollywood to L.A. Downtown

The Redline is the only subway that goes underground.  It connects from North Hollywood to L.A. Downtown.

The Grand Central Market, L.A. downtown.

The Grand Central Market sells produces and other things, but the main activity is people eating food in many food stalls.

The Broadway, downtown

Many, many years ago, Broadway was well decorated and had many movies goers and shoppers.  But it is not kept up with maintenance for a long time and eventually disintegrated.

The fashion district, downtown

Bunker Hill, downtown

The Bunker Hill is not far from Broadway, but it is upscaled downtown with many museums and apartments.
