The Dubai Frame is an observatory, museum, and monument in Dubai. The Museum of The Future is designed to explore future technologies and how they might shape our lives.

It holds the record for the largest picture frame in the world. The building is 150.24 meters tall and 95.53 meters wide and is designed to offer a panoramic view of both old and new Dubai.

As the Dubai Frame is located far from the metro station, I decided to take an Uber to reach the site.

The Old Dubai Gallery is on the bottom level of the Frame. This multimedia exhibition charts the city’s rapid transformation from a fishing village to a thriving metropolis.

The north side of the frame allows visitors to see the historic district of Dubai.

While the south side offers views of the modern cityscape.

I came back to the ground level. At the Future Zone, you can learn about Dubai’s future. This interactive exhibit showcases cutting-edge technologies that are shaping the city’s future.

Another day, I visited the Museum of the Future. If you plan to visit the museum, make sure to get your ticket early, as there is a week-long waiting list. The museum is conveniently located next to a metro station, and the picture below shows the walkway from the station to the museum.

We entered a rocket-themed elevator that simulated a trip to the space station.

We were supposed to be in a space station, but we were actually located high up in the building. The model below shows the space station we were in.

The LCD screen shows the Earth below.

Then, we were in another elevator that simulated a rocket returning to Earth.

Now that we were back on Earth, we took the stairs down to the next exhibit.

Each floor of the building has a different exhibition. This level showcases the theme of saving life in the Amazon forest by recording the DNA of living creatures. Th LCD displays the future of Dubai.

In 2075, we collected DNA samples from living creatures in the Amazon rainforest. Each vial represents a recorded species.
