Pak Kyongni is a famous Korean novelist, and Yun I-sang is also a famous Korean musician. Both were born in Tongyeong.

Pak Kyongni Memorial Hall: 1429-9 Sinjeon-ri, Sanyang-eup, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
Yun I-sang Memorial Hall: South Korea, Gyeongsangnam-do, Tongyeong-si, Docheon-dong, 148

I took a taxi to Pak Kyongni Memorial Hall because the bus to the memorial hall was infrequent.

It shows what she has accomplished over the years.

Her poem

It describes her early works.

It describes the central motives in her works.

The most famous of her work is “The Land.”

The recreation of her workroom.

Her writings

Her work was made into a TV drama.

Her thoughts on Tongyeong, her birth location.

It describes her most famous work, “The Land.”

I took the bus from the memorial hall because I could not find any taxis around.  The bus happened to go near Yun I-sang Memorial hall I planned to visit, so I got off the bus.

I did not know about him before the visit, but he is well known among Koreans.  He had accomplished a lot musically when Korea was not well known to the world.

How Tongyeong, his birth location, had influenced his work on music.

The list of his works.

His yearly accomplishments and activities.

His European concert pamphlets.

His hand notes.
