The museum was established to showcase and celebrate the rich cultural heritage of Egypt throughout its history.

The museum focuses on various aspects of Egyptian civilization, covering periods from prehistoric times to the present day.

I took an Uber from Cairo Egypt to the museum.

In the basement of the museum is the display of Royal Mummies.  I think this is the museum’s highlight, but picture-taking was not allowed.  There were 22 mummies of Egyptian Kings and Queens, just the mummies out of their caskets, and it is amazing to see that their bodies are still intact after 3000 years.

Came back to the first floor of the museum

The artifacts are arranged chronologically in one giant open hall from the past to the present.
