Driving north from the Redwood National Park along the Oregon Coast, I reached Meyers Creek Beach.

The Oregon Dunes National Recreation Area is a 31,500-acre stretch of coastal sand dunes along the Oregon Coast, between the Siuslaw River in Florence and the Coos River near North Bend. It’s one of the largest expanses of temperate coastal sand dunes in the world, with some dunes reaching heights of over 500 feet.
