Sokcho Seorak Cable Car, South Korea

The ideal way to comfortably appreciate the landscape of Seoraksan Mountain is using the Seorak Cable Car.  Sinheungsa Temple is a small temple near the cable car station.

It took me about 25 minutes of bus ride to the cable car station from Sokcho center.

Walking toward the cable car station.

The station.

Arrived at the mountainside cable car station.  Panoramic view of the mountain, left to right.

Another panoramic view, left to right.

More of the same views.

Walking on the trail at the back of the station leads to a higher altitude.

At a point of the trail.  The view of the forward side.

View of the right side

I moved forward a little bit, then took these panoramic photos, left to right.

Closer view of the rock.  More trail is ahead, but I stopped here because the path looks slippery.

One more view of the area.

Came back to the station.

Came down from the mountain.

Walking toward a small Buddhist temple nearby, Sinheungsa temple.

One giant sitting Buddha.

Keep walking toward the temple.

The largest building.

The left side

Other buildings next to the largest building.

Other buildings in the temple.

Walking out from the temple.

Walking out from the mountain.  I took a taxi to where I stayed.
