The first place I went from this walk was the Sky Tower in the center of the Aukland.

The Sky Tower
The Sky Tower in Auckland is the tallest freestanding structure in the Southern Hemisphere, offering panoramic views of the city, dining with a view, and even skyjump and skywalk experiences for the adventurous.

I returned to ground level and walked toward the harbor to catch the boat to Devonport.

To the boat

It was about 15-minute short boat ride to the Devonport

Arrived at the Devonport

Devonport. Devonport is a charming seaside village just across the harbor from Auckland, known for its historic architecture, cozy cafés, boutique shops, and scenic views from nearby volcanic cones like Mount Victoria and North Head.

I returned from Devonport and went to visit the Auckland Art Gallery.

The Auckland Art Gallery Toi o Tāmaki is the largest art institution in New Zealand, featuring an impressive collection of national and international works, including Māori and Pacific art, all housed in a beautifully restored historic building with a modern architectural extension.

Next to the art gallery is a small Albert Park

Then I took an Uber to see Ponsonby Road

Ponsonby Road is one of Auckland’s trendiest streets, known for its vibrant mix of cafes, restaurants, boutique shops, and lively nightlife, all set in a charming neighborhood with a creative, laid-back vibe.
