Looking back

On the far-away straight is the Terminal Building. The building on the left is the Hyatt Hotel.

The Terminal Building has many stores and restaurants inside.

A short train F line took me to the Fisherman’s Wharf from the Terminal Building.

Fisherman’s Wharf, on the northern waterfront, is one of the city’s busiest tourist areas. Souvenir shops and stalls selling crab and clam chowder in sourdough bread bowls appear at every turn, as do postcard views of the bay, Golden Gate and Alcatraz.

It has many seafood restaurants

Alcatraz Island – Notorious prison & once home to Al Capone, now a museum with an audio tour, accessible by ferry.
