Jeju Dongbaek-Dongsan, South Korea

Oct 29, 2021 | Nature Scene, Neighborhood, South Korea - Jeju-do

It is a thick, temperate, evergreen forest created when earth mounds formed after lava flowed on the surface.

Dongbaek-Dongsan: 77 Dongbaek-ro, Jochon-eup, Jeju-si, Jeju-do, South Korea

This is the only region among the world where the tropical northern limit plants and polar southern limit plants coexist.

There are 3-mile trails and 1.5-mile trails, and I took the shorter one.

It is primarily a dense forest with dark passages.  The forest looked the same during my walk, and the area had no flowers.  This location’s name is Camellia Hill, but Camellia blossoms only between January and May, so no Camellia can be seen at this time.

I was glad that I got out from the dark forest

I reached this small village
