Napa Valley, located in Northern California, is one of the most renowned wine regions in the world.

On the way to Napa Valley for a lunch appointment, I stopped at Alamo Square.  Alamo Square’s focal point is its panoramic views of the city skyline and the iconic “Painted Ladies.”

“Painted Ladies.”

One of the most famous attractions in Alamo Square is the row of Victorian and Edwardian houses on Steiner Street, facing the park. These colorful and well-preserved houses are commonly referred to as the “Painted Ladies.”

The Painted Ladies are often featured in postcards and movies, representing a classic San Francisco architectural style.

Another stop I made on the way to the Napa Valley was at one of the “hill” neighborhoods.  San Francisco has many hill towns, and this is one of them.

Arrived at the Napa Valley.  Like the Sonoma Valley, this region is filled with vineyards.

On another day, I revisited the Napa Valley.

I drove through many vineyards on the second day of the Napa Valley visit.

Another vineyard.  The main roadway that goes through the heart of the Napa Valley is St Helena Hwy.  Many vineyards are located on both sides of the highway.

Neverending of vineyards

I had no plans other than just sightseeing in this town, so I decided to walk around it.

I came back to the St Helena Hwy again
