Ilsan Lake Park is a bit far from central Seoul, but it’s still easily accessible by subway. This area is near Ilsan Subway Station. From here, I walked to Ilsan Lake Park.

Ilsan Lake Park

I followed a map of the park. I walked toward the left side of the map, crossed the lake via the bridge in the middle, and continued walking along the left side before looping back. Overall, I only explored the left side of the lake.

Ilsan Lake Park is one of the largest man-made parks in South Korea, located in Goyang, just outside of Seoul. Known for its tranquil atmosphere, it features a massive lake surrounded by scenic walking and cycling paths, lush gardens, and beautiful seasonal flowers, including cherry blossoms in spring.

I am walking around the lake, making my way back to where I started.

A brief side trip to a special garden.

I came out of the garden and continued walking around the lake.

A brief side walk to a vegetable and kimchi herb garden.

Back at the lake, I continued walking around it.
