The Old City in Chiang Mai is a tourist’s favorite. It has many small temples and locations to eat and rest. The Silver Temple in the Old City is made out of silver.
Chiang Rai – Baan Dam Museum, White Temple, Long Neck Karen, and Blue Temple, Thailand
A day tour to Chiang Rai from Chiang Mai to see the White Temple. The tour also stopped at Baan Dam Museum and Log Neck Karen market area.
Chiang Mai – Artist Village, Wat Umong, Wat Doi Suthep, and Hmong Village, Thailand
I visited Wat Umong and Artist Village. Then on the next day, I took a group tour to Wat Doi Suthep and Hmong Village.

The Old City has many temples which Wat Phra Singh and Wat Chedi Luang are particularly popular to visit.
Ayutthaya, Thailand
Ayutthaya is about 80 kilometers north of Bangkok. It was the capital of the Kingdom of Siam, and a prosperous international trading port, from 1350 until razed by the Burmese in 1767. The ruins of the old city now form the Ayutthaya Historical Park, an archaeological site that contains palaces, Buddhist temples, monasteries and statues.
Bangkok – Wat Traimit, China Town, and Wat Mangkon Kamalawat, Thailand
Wat Traimit has a 5.5-ton solid golden Buddha. Wat Mangkon Kamalawat is a Chinese Buddha temple in Chinatown. On the next day at night, I went and saw Wat Arun.

I went to Terminal 21 Department store for breakfast, Chatuchak Weekend Market for shopping, and King Power Mahankhon Rooftop for the city view.
