Yeosu Hyangilam Temple and Yeosu City, South Korea
Hyangilam Temple is a small Buddhist temple on a forested coastal cliff that features a terrace with dramatic ocean views. Then I viewed Yeosu city near Yi Sun Sin Square.

I rode a bus from Yeosu to the Hyangilam Temple bus stop. It took about an hour, and the bus comes on every hour.
It is a small seaside town.
Since the temple is located on a high cliff, I climb up the town. The view of back side
Near the temple, the view changes.
Looking back down.
The climb requires going through a narrow rock path, but there are other ways.
A glimpse of the temple can be seen.
It had to be a small temple because it does not have much space on the cliff.
Going up one more stairs
Reaches the highest point, but it is quite a small area.
Came down back to the same location
Then going up other stairs reaches this secluded location.
Looking back down again.
Done with seeing the temple. Time to come down to the bus stop.
Most of the store sells “Got Kimchi” which is a type of Kimchi. It it famous food in this region.
At the bus stop, the bus was already there. Great timing.
On the way to Yeosu, I stopped at Gallery An cafe because I learned that it has a great ocean view.
Then I took another bus to Yeosu city near Yi Sun Sin Square. Yi Sun Sin is the number one hero of the Korean people because he defeated the Japanese invasion of Korea in the 1590s.
