Suncheon Seonamsa Temple, South Korea
Seonamsa Temple, with nearly 1,500 years of history, is located in Suncheon, South Korea. It’s said that the temple was first built by the monk Ado in 529 during the reign of King Seong (d. 554), the 26th Baekje monarch. It was rebuilt and repaired numerous times over the next few centuries, eventually achieving its current form. Most of the wooden buildings that remain, including the main Daewoongjeon hall, were built during the late Joseon times (1392-1910).

I took a bus from Suncheon city to Seonamsa Temple. The bus comes on every hour. It is about 30 minutes walk from the parking area to the temple.
The entrance to the temple.
Inside the temple. It is quiet and feels like a usual old traditional Korean buildings instead of a temple because there were no religious decorations.
