St. Peter’s Basilica, Rome, Italy
St. Peter’s Basilica is one of the most renowned landmarks in Vatican City and an important symbol of the Catholic Church
St. Peter’s Basilica: Piazza San Pietro, 00120 CittĂ del Vaticano, Vatican City
The construction of St. Peter’s Basilica lasted several centuries. The Roman Emperor Constantine built the original basilica in the 4th century, but the current structure replaced it.
I walked to the Basilica from the nearby subway.
