Daehakro is popular for its student bars and cafes with outdoor music and theater performances. In Naksan Park, a portion of the old fortress wall runs through the park. The wall was built during the Joseon Dynasty for protection against invaders and enemies.

Deoksugung, Deoksugung Doldam-gil, and JeongDong-gil, Seoul, South Korea
Deoksugung is a mid-sized palaced which kings use during the Joseon period, JeongDong-gil is a charming and quiet street just outside of Deoksugung, and Deoksugung Doldam-gil is the street next to the Deoksugung wall.
Dongdaemun and Cheonggyecheon, Seoul, South Korea
Dongdaemun (East Gate) and Cheonggyecheon (Cheong Gye Stream) in Seoul. Dongdaemun is the East City Gate of old Seoul. Cheonggyecheon is a narrow stream that flows in the center of Seoul.
Dongdaemun Design Plaza (DDP) and Myeong-dong, Seoul, South Korea
Myeong-dong is known as the most popular city shopping area in Seoul. But because Covid-19, it is quiet and sparse with people. The Dongdaemun Design Plaza in Dongdaemoon is used mainly for museums and convention center.
Covid Quarantine in South Korea
Visiting South Korea from the U.S.A requires Covid quarantine for two weeks. I chose facility quarantine, where the government put me into a Covid quarantine-ready hotel near Inchon airport.
