Corniglia and Vernazza, Cinque Terre, Italy
Corniglia and Vernazza are other two captivating villages in the Cinque Terre.
Vernazza: Piazza Guglielmo Marconi, 7, 19017 Vernazza SP
Corniglia is the only village in the Cinque Terre that is not directly adjacent to the sea. Perched high on a rocky promontory, it offers stunning panoramic views of the surrounding coastline and terraced vineyards. The village is characterized by its peaceful and more tranquil atmosphere compared to the other Cinque Terre villages.
To reach Corniglia from the train station, visitors climb a long flight of stairs or can take a shuttle bus. I took the shuttle from the train station to the town.
Looking around the town at the shuttle stop in the town.
There were two narrow streets into the buildings in opposite directions, and without knowing which road leads to the town center, I took one path and walked.

Go back down and go straight to the other side.
It seemed that it went nowhere, so I turned back.

Back at the shuttle stop. I walked straight to the narrow path in front to the town’s other side.
This town does not seem to have any wide streets. It is this one narrow street that goes through the heart of the town.
Finally, one little square.
The building in front is Oratorio dei Disciplinati di Santa Caterina.
That orange-colored cocktail is very popular in Venice and here.
I kept walking through the street in the same direction.
At the end of the street is the ocean view
View of Manarola on one side
And the view of Monterosso on the other side

Then the shuttle to the train station
I took the train to Vernazza.
Vernazza is a quintessential Cinque Terre village, characterized by its picturesque harbor, vibrant pastel-colored houses, and medieval architecture. The village is one of the most popular and photogenic in the region, attracting visitors with its stunning coastal views and charming ambiance.
Unlike the town of Corniglia, this town is packed with tourists. Walking down to the ocean from the train station.
