Greek Island Cruise, Santorini Island, Greece

Apr 22, 2023 | Greece, Town

Its wild volcanic landscape, rugged cliffs, wild nature, and beautiful shores, combined with its rich history and traditions, make the island the gem of Greece.

Oia: Oia, Greece

Santorini is one of the Cyclades islands in the Aegean Sea. It was devastated by a volcanic eruption in the 16th century BC, forever shaping its rugged landscape. The whitewashed, cubiform houses of its two principal towns, Fira and Oia, cling to cliffs above an underwater caldera (crater). They overlook the sea, small islands to the west and beaches made up of black, red and white lava pebbles.

Fira.  The tender boat will take passengers from the cruise ship to Fira port.  A cable car will take people to the top of the hill.

Oia can be seen far away

At the Fira port

You can take a donkey to the top, though most people will choose the cable car
