Riomaggiore and Manarola, Cinque Terre, Italy
Riomaggiore and Manarola villages are renowned for their vibrant colors, charming architecture, and breathtaking views of the Mediterranean Sea.
Manarola: Via Renato Birolli, 50, 19017 Manarola SP
There is a leveled path to the village from the train station by going through a tunnel. But I climbed a hill from the train station to overlook the town.
Looking back from the hill I climbed

Church of San Giovanni Battista of Riomaggiore

I took an elevator next to the church to reach the higher level.

Back down

Through this narrow way to reach the town center

Out to the main road

To the train station through the tunnel from the city center

The next destination is the Manarola village. The train arrives every 15 to 30 minutes and takes about 4 minutes to the next village.

Arrived at the Manarola village and walked through the tunnel to reach the city center.

On the village’s center square, which is raised from the ground (probably because of the train track). Looking uphill side

Back at the oceanside. Walk again to the hill in front using the fenced path.

Back at the city center and ready to leave the town
