York Minster, officially known as the Cathedral and Metropolitical Church of Saint Peter in York, is one of the most famous and prominent cathedrals in the United Kingdom.

The cathedral’s construction started in the 7th century, with various additions and renovations over the centuries. The current Gothic structure was largely built between the 13th and 15th centuries. Its architectural style is primarily Perpendicular Gothic.
