A short distance is from Mendocino Headlands State Park to Russian Gulch State Park.
The park is known for its diverse natural features, including a deep, rugged gorge (Russian Gulch) that extends inland from the ocean. There are lush forests, fern-covered canyons, and a scenic headland with stunning ocean views.
The town of Mendocino.
Imagine quaint Victorian-era cottages adorned with gingerbread trim, lining a bluff overlooking a churning, turquoise ocean. Lush gardens burst with vibrant blooms, and the scent of salty air mingles with the fragrance of pines. That’s Mendocino in a nutshell!
