Below are scenic areas as I drove from Santa Rosa, California, to Mendocino, California.

Navarro River Redwoods State Park.  The park is known for its towering coast redwood trees, some of the tallest trees on Earth. The redwood forest creates a tranquil and majestic environment.

Navarro Beach.

The beach is known for its soft sand, crashing waves, and stunning scenery. The beach is part of the Navarro River Redwoods State Park, which also offers hiking, camping, and fishing opportunities.

Mendocino Headlands State Park.

Mendocino Headlands is known for its dramatic coastal bluffs, sea caves, and wave-cut arches along the shoreline.

A short distance is from Mendocino Headlands State Park to Russian Gulch State Park.

The park is known for its diverse natural features, including a deep, rugged gorge (Russian Gulch) that extends inland from the ocean.  There are lush forests, fern-covered canyons, and a scenic headland with stunning ocean views.
