Wanju O’s Gallery and Dubhe Cafe, South Korea
The beautiful O’s Gallery is set beside reservoir water away from the busy city. The Dubhe Cafe is equally set beautifully among old Hanok houses in a mountain not far away from the gallery.
O’s Gallery: 24 Odo-gil, Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea
Dubhe Cafe: 371 Daeheung-ri, Soyang-myeon, Wanju-gun, Jeollabuk-do, South Korea
The best way to get there from Jeonju Hanok Village is having own car. It would take about 30 minutes. A taxi would be expensive, and the bus goes there once every four hours. When a car is unavailable, take a bus to near the gallery, where many buses are available, then take a taxi to the gallery. Do the reverse to come back. Get a phone number to call a taxi for the coming back.
The O’s Gallery
The white building is the gallery, and the brick building is a coffee shop.
The coffee and the food cost about double that of Starbuck coffee.
A short walk from the gallery is a small Hanok Village. This village looks authentic from the other Hanok villages I have seen because it is in the midst of a mountain forest.
In the midst of Hanok houses, is the Dubhe coffee shop.
