The Sharjah Art Museum is a prominent cultural institution located in Sharjah, United Arab Emirates.

The museum was established in 1997 and is one of the leading art museums in the Gulf region.  

The museum features a diverse collection of artworks, including paintings, sculptures, and installations, with a focus on contemporary and modern art from the Arab world and beyond. The permanent collection showcases works by both local and international artists.

I visited this museum on the same day as the Sharjah Islamic Art Museum. When I arrived, I had only 30 minutes before it closed. I didn’t know that on Tuesdays it closes at 2:00 pm, so I was in a rush.

Although it wasn’t a very large museum, I didn’t have enough time to take photos of the description of each artwork. Nonetheless, I was able to see most of the paintings on display.

The Sharjah Art Museum is situated in the Arts Area of Sharjah, which is known for its concentration of cultural institutions, including galleries and museums.
