Sharjah Museum of Islamic Civilization is a renowned cultural institution dedicated to showcasing the rich heritage of Islamic art, culture, and history.

The museum houses a vast collection of artifacts, manuscripts, textiles, ceramics, and other objects spanning over 1,400 years of Islamic civilization. Its exhibitions give visitors insights into various aspects of Islamic culture, including art, science, architecture, calligraphy, and literature.

Sharjah is the third largest Emeritus in UAE and is located next to Dubai. To go to the Sharjah museum, you take a Metro ride, an intercity bus, and a local bus (or Uber).  It takes about two hours.

The first floor of the museum has two large display areas: one for Islamic technology and the other for Islamic faith.

The Isramic Age from the year 700 to the Ottoman Empire’s collapse in the aftermath of World War I and the subsequent dismantling of traditional Islamic governance structures in many parts of the Muslim world.
