Bugpolu is high on the mountain and gives an excellent view of Tongyeong city. Dongpirang Mural Village is on a hill near the Fish Market and has many coffee shops tailored for travelers.

Bugpolu: Gyeongsangnamdo, Tongyeong-si, Munhwa-dong, 산2, South Korea
Dongpirang Mural Village: 6-18 Dongpirang 1-gil, Dongho-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea

Bugpolu is way high on the mountain, and so it is a strenuous hike.  The hike is steep, and you need to be careful not to get hurt.  It took me about 40 minutes to reach the top.  There could be a less strenuous way up the mountain, so it is recommended to do some research.  I did not do the research and took the hiking route the taxi driver told me.

The destination has one structure for the hiker to take a rest.

It provides a broader view of Tongyeong city.  This is a panoramic view from left to right.

Far below shows the Seopirang Park.

After reaching the ground level, I kept walking to Dongpirang Mural Village

Dongpirang Village is a small hilly village where the walls are painted.  It became popular with the tourists, so eventually, stores catered to the tourists were showed up.
