Tongyeong City, Fish Market, Seopirang Park, and Samdo Sugun, South Korea
Walked around Tongyeong City, visiting popular tourist areas.
Tongyeong Fish Market : 409-1 Taepyeong-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
Seopiriang Park : 36-2 Chungnyeol-ro, Myeongjeong-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
Tongyeong Samdo Sugun Tongjeyeong: 27 Sebyeong-ro, Munhwa-dong, Tongyeong-si, Gyeongsangnam-do, South Korea
This is central Tongyeong city. The road with the stores and buildings is on one side, but the other side is the port. The fishing port surrounds a good part of the city, making the town feel as distinctive as a fishing port city.
The other side.
In front of the port is the Tongyeong Fish Market.
When one buys the fish, the seller make sashimi out of it. Then you take it to a restaurant next to it to eat it. It costs about $4 to use the restaurant, but they provide basic condiments and vegetables.

Came out of the market and walked up to Seopirang park on a hill next to the town.
Reached the top of the hill
There was a popular song lyric, “Come back to Busan Port,” and it turns out the lyric was copied from another lyric, “Come back to Chungmu Port,” where Chugmu port is nowadays Tongyeong port.
Looking down at the Tongyeong city from the hill. Panoramic view from the right to left.
Another view of one part of the port as I walk down from the hill.
Walked to Samdo Sugun Tongjeyeong from the hill. This is the navy command central during the year 1590, where Yi Sunshin was commander at the time.
