On the Hall of Mosses Hiking Trail

This trail is known for its enchanting and magical scenery, featuring towering trees draped in thick layers of moss, creating a fairy-tale-like atmosphere.

The Hall of Mosses Trail is a relatively short loop, approximately 0.8 miles (1.3 km) long. This makes it accessible to a wide range of visitors, including families and those looking for a shorter hike.

The trail takes hikers through an old-growth forest, where ancient trees, including Sitka spruce and western hemlock, are covered in vibrant green moss. The forest floor is carpeted with ferns and other undergrowth, adding to the lush and primeval environment.

The unique and picturesque scenery of the Hall of Mosses makes it a favorite spot for nature photographers. The interplay of light, shadow, and the rich textures of moss-covered trees provides excellent photo opportunities.

After the Hall of Mosses Trail, I went to the adjacent Spruce Trail.
